Wanna See a Razorback

The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum is conveniently located in downtown North Little Rock on the Arkansas River. Here history, military, and nautical enthusiasts can learn about our countries rich maritime history and tour the U.S.S. Razorback. The U.S.S. Razorback is a submarine that has had a rich history before coming to Central Arkansas to educate our landlocked state.

If you haven’t been, pack a picnic lunch and spend the day at the Riverfront park and take a tour of the U.S.S. Razorback. The cost is $6/adult and $4/child (under 12). Children are welcome but bringing very young children (5 and under) is not recommended due to the difficulty and hazards in touring a submarine.

I, personally, enjoyed my visit to the U.S.S. Razorback. Knowledgeable veterans were present and sharing their knowledge of the sub and the wars she was in. The guided tour was remarkable. I was particularly pleased to find a place that was built for my short height.
